Every McKay Provisions piece is handcrafted in our San Diego workshop. We don’t mass-produce or warehouse inventory — each item is built with intention. This policy is designed to be clear and reassuring, so you always know what to expect.

Production & Lead Time

• Made to Order: We begin crafting after your order is placed.
• Current Lead Times: Production lead times are listed on each product page near the Add to Cart button (in the details below). This ensures the lead time you see is always the most up to date.
• Bags & Larger Goods: Some items require more time to build; the product page will reflect that.

Shipping & Delivery

• Carriers: USPS, UPS, and FedEx.
• Tracking: Tracking will be emailed when your order ships.

Free U.S. Shipping 

Orders $75+ ship free within the United States.

International Orders

We ship worldwide. Import duties, VAT, and customs fees are determined by your country and are the customer’s responsibility.

Address Changes & Order Adjustments

Production begins quickly. If you need to update your shipping address or request a change, email us as soon as possible: ahoy@mckayprovisions.com

If the item has already shipped, changes may not be possible — but we’ll help however we can.

Delivery Issues

Marked Delivered but Not Received

Sometimes carriers mark packages delivered before they arrive. Please:

1. Allow 48 hours
2. Check with neighbors, building management, or household members
3. Then contact us

We’ll assist in locating the package and guiding next steps.

Damaged in Transit

If your order arrives damaged:

• Email photos of the packaging and product
• Include your order number
• Send within 7 days of delivery
