A custom leather badge wallet designed for law enforcement and built around the shield you carry.
The Badge Wallet features a custom-cut recessed badge pocket sized specifically for your full-size flat badge. A protective leather flap keeps the badge concealed and separated from your cards, credentials, and other pocket contents during everyday carry.
Designed by first responders, for first responders, the wallet can also be configured for rapid outward badge display. Tuck the front of the wallet into a waistband, front pocket, or shirt pocket and stow the leather badge cover inside a card slot to leave the shield visible and upright. The badge is intentionally inverted inside the wallet for this purpose.
Three card slots and a concealed pocket behind the badge provide room for 8–12 cards, law enforcement credentials, and folded cash while maintaining a slim profile. Capacity may increase upon break-in.
Handmade in America and hand-stitched in our San Diego workshop from full-grain, vegetable-tanned American leather.

Order Process
After your order is placed, we will reach out via email with instructions for providing your badge dimensions and custom monogramming. Once we receive the information, we will get to work hand-cutting your custom badge wallet. Fulfillment takes up to two weeks, but is often shipped out to you much sooner.
The Leather
This piece is made from full-grain, vegetable-tanned leather from Wickett & Craig in Pennsylvania — one of the finest American leather tanneries still in operation. It’s the same leather trusted by craftsmen, ranch hands, horsemen, and heritage brands for over a century. It starts firm and clean, and with daily carry it softens, deepens, and develops a rich patina that’s unmistakably yours. This is the leather we choose when we want something that will outlast the years — a wallet that wears in, not out.
The Thread
When every stitch matters, we reach for Maine Thread — a waxed, braided cord produced by a 4th-generation family company in Lewiston, Maine. We searched far and wide for thread that could match the durability of full-grain leather, and this was the only one that met our standard. Tough enough to withstand decades of daily carry, yet refined in appearance, it pulls tight, holds strong, and ages with quiet confidence. Made in the USA, built to endure, selected with intention.

We use true full-grain leather, which means we don’t sand away the hide’s natural character. As a result, your item may show marks, scars, bug/bat bites, stretch marks, grain variations, or tone differences that may not match product photos exactly. These are not defects — they’re proof of authenticity. Each McKay Provisions piece will patina and age in its own way, becoming one-of-a-kind and unmistakably yours.
